Installing WAMP software, uploading your website's HTML-coded text files with the PHP extension, and going to "Apache" to enable online content of your files are all necessary steps to hosting a website on a Windows PC. It should be noted that while self-hosting is an option for learning how websites operate, it is not advised for a fully featured, business-oriented website. Self-hosting a website has numerous drawbacks. For example, because home computers are designed for personal use, your self-hosted website will be slow. To prevent hardware or power failures, you must make sure your computer is always on and have a backup system ready.
